Welcome to Goaded Battles!
This is the official page for signing up for live stream battles. Any battles purchased here will be opened live during the stream. You can also check out packs page for additional options that can be opened on stream.
How it Works
Once you place an order, your battle will wait until all spots are filled. When full, it will be added to the end of the current live stream’s schedule (if one is running) or queued for the next stream. If a battle does not fill within 14 days, we’ll issue a full refund.
What You Keep
Every battle lets you keep the cards pulled from your packs. Depending on the battle type, you may also be competing for bonus prizes. Winners are determined by the total converted mana cost (mana value) of all rares and mythics in your packs.
Tie-Breakers:
If there’s a tie, it will be broken by comparing the lowest collector number among the rares or mythics from the main set that each player opened. If still tied, we move to the next lowest number, and so on.
Rules & Guidelines
- Goaded Gamer has the final say on all rulings.
- You keep all cards opened unless you’ve selected a shipping option that excludes certain cards
- Shipping costs are separate from battle entry fees
- Highest total mana value and lowest total mana value of rares/mythics each win the listed prize(s) in that battle
- Lands have no mana value
- X counts as 0
- Suspend cards without a mana value in the top right corner are treated as 0
- Double-faced cards count both sides if each side has unique playable text
- Foils count as their printed rarity
- Phyrexian mana counts as 1 per symbol
- Hybrid mana (e.g., 2/G) is counted at the higher cost
- Cards with adventures or omens count both the main card’s CMC and the adventure/omen spell cost
- List cards are scored at their printed rarity
- All Time Spiral Remastered old border cards count as rares
- Ties are resolved by the lowest set number rare or mythic in the main set, then the next lowest, and so forth.
